The CAL house league and player development teams are able to participate in local and out-of-town tournaments in the appropriate age divisions each year. Individual teams must notify the CAL and request permission to participate or obtain the required travel permit where necessary when participating in out-of-town tournaments.
Each year the CAL together with the Fort Henry Hockey Association host the Kingston Causeway Classic Tournament. This tournament occurs over Christmas break, just after Christmas but before New Years. This tournament is a non-body checking tournament and is open to house league teams all across Ontario. Each year the tournament is full with participating CAL teams and out-of-town entries. This tournament has been running for over 10 years and hosts up to 70 teams at 4 different Kingston area arenas. CAL teams interested in entering the Kingston Causeway Classic must complete the application form.
The CAL Annual Days of Champions is on the first weekend of March each year and ends the regular season of house league hockey. All CAL teams are included in this round robin tournament that celebrates our season of hockey coming to a close.
All CAL sponsored tournaments encourage Family Friendly Hockey as well as Equal Ice Time values.
