Dave O’Connor has been coaching in the CAL with the St Johns association for over 11 years. He has coached his son Ben (18) for his entire hockey career from Novice to Midget. He has assisted with his son Mitch’s team and has coached his daughter Emily’s team in the Ice Wolves. Dave has also been a CAL PD Panthers coach for 11 years.
Some things people have said about Dave: “players always want to show up for Dave’s ice time”; “his practices are challenging & motivational”; “he encourages kids to give it their all”; “Dave’s players develop a mutual respect for each other”.
Dave continues to demonstrate outstanding leadership in volunteerism as a Board Member; the St Johns association rep; a Hockey School coach; and Chair of the CAL Days of Champions.
